How to Integrate Impact Part I

We talk a lot about purpose because that's what the G-FORCE Mastermind is all about and during this session Britnie Turner, Founder & CEO of Aerial and creator of G-FORCE Mastermind, breaks down practical steps that will help you find your purpose and how to integrate your purpose into your business to increase overall impact. 

What is Purpose?

Purpose is the reason you exist. This purpose is based on what you were given, what you saw and what you do with it. 

Inner Purpose 

Your inner purpose starts with the inner relationship you have with everyone and everything. This inner foundation is what everything needs to flow from. Find and share the light within yourself. To get started ask yourself, 

“What is the gift I share with the world?”

“Who am I becoming?”

“Who do I want to be

This work is inner work for you and not for anyone else.

Outer Purpose 

Outer Purpose is finding ways to express your inner purpose. This varies person to person and can change over time. Outer purpose can be seen as success” but it’s not success if it's not tied to your inner purpose. 

Finding and living your inner purpose is the foundation for fulfilling your outer purpose. This is the basis for true success. You can achieve the outer without the inner purpose, but there is no joy in that. 


To find joy you must know what lights you up and what will help you become the best version of YOU. Joy does not come from what you do. It flows into what you do from within. There’s no point in building an empire if you want to kill yourself once you get to the top. If you don't take the time to get your inner purpose right, then nothing matters. 

Remember, the chances of YOU being HERE are 400 trillion to 1. Understand your connection to the rest of the universe. 

You are worthy

You have a purpose.

You have a special gift

Knowing that you have a purpose makes you unshakable and have the ultimate perspective to be able to accomplish anything

Start with WHO

Starting with your inner purpose flows into your outer purpose. How you express your purpose turns into your company vision which flows into your brand and turns into your company network. This all flows into making an even greater impact

If you start at the bottom (the impact) you could lose focus. There are too many worthy causes that could lead you down money trails that are distractions and not opportunities which is why we start with WHO.

Start with WHO you want to be as a person in your essence. The goal is to start everyday intentionally. You as a being is enough. But knowing you are enough, you can do anything! 

In order to achieve this, you must stop doing what you're SUPPOSED to do. 

Want vs. Supposed To

Living according to what you’re supposed to do means you’re making decisions based on how you feel you’re supposed to respond to the world vs. making intentional decisions that will support who you want to be in the world. 

Draw a line in the sand. If you “flop” into decisions like who you surround yourself with, what you believe in, talk about, spend your time on, etc. then you’re not taking ownership of your life. If you want to change this, start by figuring out what drives you. Look at your specific gifts and ask how these things would change if you were using your gifts. How does your life begin to become intentional? You’re taking the same gifts but just using different filters to discover how you can take ownership of your life.

This plan breaks down actions that you should start or stop doing in order to grow in the next 90 days, activities for the next year and aspirations for the next 5 years. These three phases are broken into 4 categories: relationships, achievements, lifestyle/health and wealth.

Take a look at your own filters and gifts. Are you making those decisions because you’re supposed to do them or because you want to do them? Everything starts with you! Your company is a reflection of what is going on inside of you. So you have to get clear. 

Integration of Purpose

Integrating your purpose with your business requires you to break down what you care about and what you believe is worth fighting for. This is where you break down intentional decisions and actions that align with your purpose. Make it practical by listing out:

  • What’s worth fighting for?
  • How will you fight for it?
  • How will you bridge your purpose through your network?

By having influence and resources you can make the world a better place. 

How Can You Be a FORCE for GOOD?

If you're looking for ways to be a force for good, audit your resources and see if there is anything you can donate. Do you have an airbnb that you could donate a few nights to the Ronald McDonald House or to health workers? Do you have any open marketing space for good initiatives or could you use your social media accounts/influence to promote nonprofit organizations? Check your inventory for any extra products you could donate or audit your time for any availability to donate your services.
