He holds credentials as an ACE Certified Health Coach and TRX Certified Suspension Trainer. Living a life of wellness became a huge part of his life so he could overcome his disabilities.

In this G-FORCE Influencer Interview, Britnie Turner, Founder & CEO of Aerial and creator of G-FORCE Mastermind, talks with Chase about topics ranging from sleep habits and nutrition to supplements and apps that will help you get on the track towards healthy living.

Ever Forward

‘Ever Forward’ is a phrase woven into every aspect of Chase’s life. This phrase came from the perspective that “someone always has it worse”. Chase’s father used the phrase ‘ever forward’ his entire life and when it finally clicked with Chase, he chose to truly embody it and share it with the world.

When Chase’s father was diagnosed with a terminal illness, his father got on a plane and spent 4 days being with Chase to convince him, a young soldier, not to stop the beginning of his life just because his father’s life was ending.

Chase not only lives by the creed ‘Ever Forward’ but also instills this in his clients so they take ownership of their lives through bettering their physical and mental toughness.

Level Up Your Health

It’s prudent to know that it is within your control to level up your health. Overall you want to work to reduce comorbidities so you are in a better position to fort off viruses and bacteria.

Chase takes us through 4 key ways we can better our physical health.

#1 Sleep

Sleep is king to the wellness hierarchy. Be militant about your sleep schedule. Across the board every human being can benefit from 8 hours of sleep. However even if you get by with 6.5 hours, consistency is the most important factor. It's not as much about the quantity, as it is about the quality

One way to know if you're getting quality sleep is if you’re dreaming and, more importantly, if you remember your dreams. Dreams happen in REM cycle sleep so it's a good way to know if your body is going through that cycle.

Some great tools to help your sleep are the books, Why We Sleep or Sleep Smarter. Blue-light blocking glasses or setting your phone to ‘night shift mode’ helps to decrease the amount of blue-light coming from your screen that is shown to disrupt sleep cycles.

#2 Hydration

People always ask the question of how much they should be drinking everyday. Chase’s answer is simple, “one more than what you’re drinking now.”

#3 Daily Physical Activity

You don’t have to be hardcore about this one but it’s important to be intentional to incorporate standing up or moving around in any shape or form to burn calories and get all body parts moving.

Start logging your activity and your calories to incorporate a sense of mindfulness. The app, My Fitness Pal is a great tool if you don’t have a fitness tracking watch. Your smart phone most likely has a Health App included that can also help you keep track. Get started today with setting a simple daily step count!

When you are mindful about your physical activity or your calorie intake, your diet and activity tends to clean itself up over time.

#4 Consistent Quality Calories

It’s important to focus on protein and micronutrient health. Make sure your diet consists of colorful fruits and vegetables. If access to these types of foods is limited, consider adding a quality super greens powder into your diet. Chase recommends Strong Greens by BPN to meet your nutritional intake everyday.

How You Can Live Your Life EVER FORWARD

To live a life ever forward, Chase challenges you to take 1 day where you document everything you do. Document what you do, when you do it and the emotion you're feeling while you’re doing it.

“I woke up at this time and I felt this”

“I ate this food at this time and felt this.”

The next day, read over your documented day...your next steps to move forward will present themselves. Take note of all the things that are within your control and what you can do to improve your life. Be aware of what you're doing and how you're showing up for yourself every day because that is the catalyst of how you will do everything else.

“The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.”
